A downloadable map

Warp Rooms is loosely framed as a map of junctions on the astral plane to allow a GM to shift a roleplaying game mid-campaign to a different system or adventure.

CW: burning, body horror

It's partly an array of universe-hopping encounters, and partly a collection of stream of consciousness 'boss' fights.

But I don't really know what it is.

Warp Rooms was created in a short space of time for Weird Jam Satellite.

Please really consider getting the consent of your group before you switch to a different RPG system.

This is such a great tool. It definitely fits well with how many (or at least I) GM and desire the ability to shift systems over time.

Technical question... how did you go about making the visuals for this (especially the yellow, blue orange noise background for the map?)

At a guess, it might be the same stock texture run through several different levels of a Threshold filter, and then the resulting layers used as a Photoshop mask over flat layers of yellow orange and blue? Nice effect!

Oops, I replied to Goblin Archives elsewhere but didn’t put anything here! It’s a photo that’s had a gradient map applied (with a 3 part gradient). The graininess was unexpected but appealing.

Nice one!

Utterly amazing, can’t wait to pass some players through these mysteries

Without a doubt using this in my next game!

I can’t wait to try this out in a campaign! Seems like a great way to shake things up
