Sleeping In A Drowning Stone is the official soundtrack for solo Mothership adventure Thousand Empty Light.

The music is composed and produced by Gus BC (Twitter / Instagram).

Accompanying the soundtrack is a bonus module for Thousand Empty Light that presents an additional location detailed in the notes of a saturation diver stationed in the tunnel. This 10 page PDF comes with the music and is adapted from the Maltese cross packaging that accompanied the physical tape cassette release.

Do you have the print layout for the cassette box? I would like to record the album onto cassette and that box is really neat!

Hey! I love that idea. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding the packaging file atm. If I find it, I'll upload it and let you know.

This soundtrack is absolutely amazing.

I bought the tape including the module for a friend of mine and got a download of the music as well.

I have been listening to almost nothing else for a whole month and I'm absolutely in love!

Glad you like it, thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the module and all the great work!
My friend was super happy about everything!

when do I use the module that comes with the tape? Do I read it before I start the game or is it a location like the other parts of the game? Im new to all this so sorry for all the questions. Haha

This is a good question without a definite answer. You can read it any time but if it’s something your character finds when they get to Section 4 that would be pretty cool. It introduces a new location that leads from there.

cool, thanks!

I'm looking forward to the tape's rerelease. My vehicle is old enough to have a tapedeck and my slowly growing collection of obscure tapes brings me joy. (Also obv bonus module.)

The tape has recently been put up for sale by Tuesday Knight Games (bundled  with the zine): https://shop.tuesdayknightgames.com/products/copy-of-a-thousand-empty-light

They’re also selling a deluxe bundle with a few extra bits.

This soundtrack slaps. What more is there to say about it? 10/10.
