This is very cool. I don't think I've ever seen a sensory grounding technique like this used in a game to resolve something. I'm a therapist, and my specialty is trauma. The teenagers I have worked with love games, so it makes me interested in the possibilities of using such things for a coping skills toolbox, particularly in places like school, where kids often have to rely on internal coping skills when triggered.
I saw your video today. I've had an idea with a similar concept surrounding 1p rules and ARG. Until now I wasn't even sure if it was viable, but this is execution is really cool. I played a couple rounds and had fun.
This is a fantastic followup! I love the theme and the aesthetic, as I did with the previous game. I'd be curious to know more about the grounding technique this was adapted from.
Not sure where I first came across it, but it's as simple as going through different colours and spotting X number of things of that colour, as a way of distracting yourself from a stressful situation / panic attack
